UK National Lottery

The National Lottery was established in 1994 as a vehicle for generating funding to support charity.

On the first week it was launched, more than 24 million people played the UK Lottery. It became popular because 50% of its sales are distributed back as cash prizes. Since then, total prize winnings have reached over £19 billion and another £19 billion has been generated and donated to good causes.

Changes to the UK Lotto

The UK Lotto has been revamped to accommodate bigger jackpots. The previous UK Lotto field of numbers, 1 to 49, has been expanded to 1 to 59. The first draw under the new field of numbers was held on Saturday, October 10, 2015.

Players are still required to match all six numbers to win the jackpot. However, a new prize pool division has been introduced that made the overall odds of winning any lotto prize drop from 1 in 54 million to 1 in 9.3 million. That is, players are now only required to match two numbers to win a consolation prize – a free Lotto Lucky Dip – instead of the now Division 5 prize pool of matching three numbers for $25. With a little bit of math, you will know how to win the UK lotto in no time.

Introducing the Millionaire Raffle

The previous Lotto Raffle has been enhanced to the all-new Millionaire Raffle which will hand out a guaranteed £1 million prize to one lucky winner along with £20,000 each to up to 20 winners. Each game you play in the UK Lotto will generate a random Lotto Raffle combination. This combination will serve as your entry and consists of a four-letter color, such as BLUE, and 8 numbers.

This new raffle has been improved from its predecessor, the Lotto Raffle, which only handed out 50 £20,000 rewards.

More exciting Rollovers

New Lotto is making Rollovers more exciting than ever before. Now when the jackpot rolls, the number of raffle winners of £20,000 grows, creating even more guaranteed winners.
